Our Vision
We - Community
WeBUILT Sunflower will be a safe, supportive and affordable residential community in Johnson or Wyandotte County, Kansas, for adults with and without intellectual / developmental disabilities (I/DD).

B - Build
WeBUILT Sunflower will be developed as a neighborhood of individual, fully equipped, one-bedroom homes within a community setting.
​
U - Unique
WeBUILT Sunflower will be designed as a cottage community neighborhood with amenities that include green spaces with pathways instead of roads, spaces for outdoor activities and an enrichment center for programs, socializing and communal dining.
​
I - Independent
WeBUILT Sunflower residents will have the freedom to employ the service provider of their choice to live as independently as possible.

L - Lives
WeBUILT Sunflower’s focus is creating opportunities for new life experiences and friendships that empower individuals to be successful in community living.

T - Together
WeBUILT Sunflower will develop partnerships within the greater community to provide opportunities for inclusive community engagement.
